In the Gallery, you can see pictures of places in Ireland where I have lived in the past(Letterfore in Connemara, and Glenturkeen, Cashel, Connemara), and the Cobweb Cottage, where I moved last December.

You'll also see parts of my recording set-up.

And a few Guitars.

The most interesting one is the Steel String Acoustic built by Roland Scharbatke in 1987. The top is Alpine Spruce, back and sides are Brazilian Rosewood. Ebony fretboard. No steel bar in the neck, it uses an Ebony spring instead. Have a look at the Rodgers machine heads (handmade in England, one-of-a-kind engraving), and the way they are set into the wood. See how the headstock is set into the neck. Shellac finish (1/15th the thickness of nitro lacquer). ...
The one thing you cannot see, unfortunately, is how she sounds. Beautiful. Extremely responsive to variations of pick attack, picking position, etc. The only acoustic guitars I have played that come close to its sound are other guitars by the same builder...http://www.rodgers-tuning-machines.co.uk/shapeimage_2_link_0
